London Irish Cadets

237 LIR is an Army Cadet detachment within Middlesex & North West London ACF. We were originally based for many years at the Duke of York’s HQ, Chelsea but have now moved to Rochester Row, Victoria, where we are now firmly entrenched.

The Army Cadet Force is a youth organisation, sponsored by the Ministry of Defense which aims to introduce young people to some of the skills required by a Soldier, as well as Adventurous Training and integrating with existing BTEC and Duke of Edinburgh schemes.

ACF detachments are staffed by fully qualified volunteers who are not paid by the Army or the MoD, they do it for a hobby as well, probably because they enjoy it just as much! If you’ve got a Cadet or Forces background, or even if you don’t but you’d like to give it a go as an Adult Instructor, give us a call.
